Twin City             Postcard Club
OF Minnesota
1) How often does the group meet?     We meet monthly, see times and location in the Meetings section of the website

2) How often does the club sponsor a show?  We host two shows yearly, a fall and a spring show.   See the show section of the website.

3) What does membership offer?   It gets you six newsletters a year, the use of the website and access to the book library by contacting the Liberian.

4) Do I have to be a member to attend a show?   No but you do get an admission discount for membership.

5) Do I have to be a member to attend the meeting?   We welcome visitors but do encourage membership to participate in the activities.

6) I'm not a member but am curious about this hobby, how can I learn more?    There are several ways for you to learn more.   1) right from your computer, you can learn much more about the hobby by using a search engine to find what might be of interest to you.  2) If you want to just see what a show is like, attend one of the local shows and get a chance to meet others who have found this hobby so interesting.  3) Join the club and start to get the newsletter and also plan to attend the club meetings.  There, you'll find the time to talk to people who have interests in a variety of topics associated with the hobby.  There are also some dealers who will bring some cards to look at and talk to the dealers, or other club members, about them.  3) As a member, you can check books out by notifying the librarian of your interest.  The librarian will bring the book to the meeting and you can check it out at that time.

7) I don't have an interest in the hobby but want to see what I inherited might be worth.  Can someone help me?   Frequently, we have dealers who might be willing to look at the cards provided they aren't a large amount.  They might be willing to give you an idea on how much the group is worth or even might consider buying what you have but there is no guarantee of that.  Postcard value varies from a small amount to significant worth depending on what the postcard has, it's condition and rarity.
